Amorphous alloy is a new type of magnetic conductive material, mainly composed of metal elements such as iron, silicon and boron. It is produced by a rapid freezing and solidification process. The metal atoms in amorphous alloy materials are arranged in a disordered amorphous state. It features good ferromagnetism, high mechanical properties, excellent corrosion resistance, simple manufacturing process and high yield rate. Amorphous alloys are significantly different from crystalline alloys in terms of physical, chemical and mechanical properties. Compared with traditional silicon steel cores, transformer cores processed from amorphous alloys have the characteristics of being more conducive to magnetization and demagnetization, and the no-load loss is reduced by 80%.
